The out of focus one is appealing for it stands out. Looks street credible, underground and it exemplifies the power of black and white. Black and white can sometimes make the same picture look both melancholy and inspirational - as I felt in this case. Do you think of the photo as having a happy or sad/positive or negative feeling attributed to it?
Yea I agree, the photo seems underground, I think especially with his black top hat. I think of this photo as having a sad and negative feeling with his slouched position and the photo being out of focus.
